Five Star L.L.C., was formed in November 1993. The company has currently focused its expertise in marketing products that can be readily identified as USA made products into Mexico. This was an intended action on our part to take advantage of a growing middle to upper class population demographic that is taking place in Mexico’s major cities because of NAFTA and the Petro-dollars.

There is also an ever increasing demographic population of Americans moving to various parts of Mexico to take advantage of the lower cost of living. Both of these demographic groups want and are demanding American made food and HBC products due to the perception of their superior quality. Our vision was to build a solid base of branded and private labeled items from the USA for both Mexico and ultimately through out Central America.

Our strength with the manufacturers that we represent lies with our ability to source and show them how to market specific products to our unique customers. What makes us unique is that we have been able to form partnerships with dominant chain stores within Mexico. The partnerships are formed through product acquisition roles, private label development, and international sourcing, brokering and market assessment reporting strategies.
